Organisational structure
The company is structurally organised according to the organisation chart shown, which sets out every area so you can see the involvement and responsibility of each department within its functional area.
This makes clear that each department contributes decisively to the quality requirements of the service delivered.
Process-based management
In management terms, BVMS — Construções, Lda. has adopted a process-based approach, aiming to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of its services. It identified its activities and the resources needed to turn those resources into results that add value not only for the organisation, but also for its Clients, Employees, Suppliers and society at large.
Accordingly, BVMS identified its processes and their sequences and interactions. It defined the methodologies needed for those processes to run in the best way, meeting the Client's requirements. It likewise defined the human and technical resources required to carry them out, and how those processes are followed up through monitoring, measurement and analysis.
